Dear Students,
Pharmacists are the closest health consultants to the public, who have knowledge in all areas related to drugs. They take role about all drug-related functions such as developing, preparing, and presenting all kinds of drugs used in the treatment and preventing of diseases, informing the society about drugs in the most accurate way and providing standardization and quality assurance of drugs.
The main purpose of pharmacy undergraduate education is to train qualified manpower in every field where the pharmacy and health sector needs pharmacists. As Istanbul Health and Technology University Faculty of Pharmacy, our mission is to train modern pharmacists who can work in different fields of pharmacy profession, who care about public health and public interest, who are leaders, decision-makers, researchers, have good communication and teaching skills, are lifelong learners, have a sense of professional ethics and responsibility.
Our faculty has the potential to raise graduates at a level that can meet the needs of the country and society with its competent and dynamic academic staff, education program that is compatible with international quality standards, including the innovations brought by the profession, well-equipped laboratories, and university-pharmaceutical industry cooperation. In addition, it is one of our most important goals to increase the knowledge of our students in the professional field by ensuring that our students take part in projects focused on university-industry cooperation, carried out by the "Pharmaceutical Research and Development Institute" established within the body of Istanbul Health and Technology University Faculty of Pharmacy.
